Donald Trump prayer circle

President Donald Trump was part of a prayer circle held in the Oval Office on Monday. During a meeting that included a number of national faith leaders and representatives from the Office of Public Liaison, attendees came together to pray for the President of the United States. As you can see in the photo above, President Trump was surrounded by those who participated.

The prayer circle was led by Evangelical pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, who was in attendance with his wife Adonica. Mr. Howard-Browne shared a photo of the powerful moment on Facebook.

“Yesterday was very surreal for @ahowardbrowne & I. 30 years ago we came from South Africa to America as missionaries. Yesterday I was asked by Pastor Paula White-Cain to pray over our 45th President – what a humbling moment standing in the Oval Office – laying hands and praying for our President – Supernatural Wisdom, Guidance and Protection – who could ever even imagine – wow – we are going to see another great spiritual awakening #ovaloffice #westwing #whitehouse #washingtondc,” Rodney Howard-Browne wrote on his Facebook page.

In the photo that Mr. Howard-Browne shared, you can see the back of the President’s head with some hands resting on his back. Vice President Mike Pence can be seen with his eyes closed and his head bowed. Other people in the photo include Jack Graham, the pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, and Michele Bachmann, the former Republican congresswoman from Minnesota, according to CNN.

Former senior vice president at Liberty University, Johnnie Moore, also shared the photo on social media. He said that it was “an honor” to pray for the President and the Vice President in the Oval Office.

“We similarly prayed for President Obama but it’s different with President Trump. When we are praying for President Trump, we are praying within the context of a real relationship, of true friendship,” Moore told CNN.
