NBA Summer League: What NBA Summer League Games Are on TV Today?



Jayson Tatum has been one of the standout players of NBA summer league.

Six games conclude the final day of NBA summer league action on Tuesday, July 11. Three games will be televised on ESPN 2 and ESPN U, while the other three games are available on ESPN 3 via participating internet provider.

The San Antonio Spurs take on the Portland Trail Blazers at 4 p.m. Eastern on ESPN 3. Rookie big men Zach Collins and Caleb Swanigan lead the Blazers roster. For the Spurs, it is the backcourt fans will want to watch as rookie combo guard Derrick White is paired with second-year point guard Dejounte Murray.

In another early tip, the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Utah Jazz at 4:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN U. The Grizzlies roster is full of players from the 2017 draft class including Dillon Brooks, Ivan Rabb and Kobi Simmons. Three-and-D prospect Donovan Mitchell leads the Jazz squad in their final game of the summer.

The Washington Wizards take on the Chicago Bulls at 6 p.m. Eastern which will be available online on ESPN 3. Chicago is led by lottery pick Lauri Markkanen as the Bulls look towards life without Jimmy Butler. The Wizards Roster is full of undrafted players from 2017 including volume scoring point guard Marcus Keene.

The Philadelphia 76ers take on the Boston Celtics in a rematch of the summer league game of the year. ESPN 2 will have the broadcast at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. This time, the Sixers will be without top pick Markelle Fultz, but do have second-year swingman Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. Rookie Jayson Tatum teams up with second-year lottery pick Jaylen Brown for the Celtics.

The Miami Heat battle the Dallas Mavericks at 8 p.m. Eastern on ESPN 3. Kentucky standout big man Bam Adebayo leads the Heat, while rookie playmaker Dennis Smith Jr. is one of the key players for the Mavs.

Finally, the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves conclude summer league at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN 2. Defensive enforcer Jordan Bell leads the defending champions while Justin Patton is the lone 2017 Timberwolves draft pick on the team.
