Season 2 of Famously Single is in full effect, with a brand new cast of celebrities, along with familiar faces as well. One person you may recognize from last season is Calum Best. His temper and drinking got the better of him last season when he struck up a romance with season 1 fellow cast member Brandi Glanville. He returns to the show with somewhat of a new perspective, hoping to overcome his weaknesses. In addition, he may have a new love interest this season.
As for the new cast members, here’s the rundown on who’s participating on the show and what you can expect to see from them.
Right off the bat, Khloe Kardashian’s best friend Malika Haqq is attracted to “Ronnie from The Jersey Shore.” Haqq says her problems in relationship stem from her going for unavailable men. She also says that she will break up with a guy before he has the chance to end things with her since she feels like all men leave. Haqq and Robbie Magro-Ortiz dive into a romantic relationship this season that ended up carrying on after the show, but it ultimately ended. Haqq gets along well with fellow cast member Tiffany Pollard, along with several others this season.
Many know Chad Johnson as the “villain” from The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise. He says that because of his bad boy issues, most associate him with his image and he has a hard time finding a girlfriend. Johnson ends up opening up a bit on the show and it looks like he engages in a romance with co-star Karina Smirnoff. By the look of Johnson’s Instagram account, he appears to be single, but he has confirmed to People that he is dating model Zoe Baron.
Dorothy Wang is a little hesitant to mingle with the others at first and she admits to being very judgmental, though she ends up meshing with a few of the cast members. Wang definitely rubs Tiffany Pollard the wrong way at the very beginning, but perhaps things will change. When it comes to dating Wang says that she doesn’t “put herself out there” and that she’s used to just hanging out with a specific group of people. Wang is the daughter of a billionaire and viewers may know her from the show Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.
Ronnie Margro-Ortiz’s longtime ex-girlfriend Sammi Sweetheart has moved on with a new man and this season, Ortiz moves on as well. He voices that he’s never sure of girls’ intentions since a lot of women throw themselves at him because of his Jersey Shore stardom. Immediately, he says he’s attracted to fellow cast member Malika Haqq and the two become an item very quickly. Last season on the show, Ortiz’s former Jersey Shore cast-mate Pauly D got together with season 1 cast member Aubrey O’Day and the two are still together today.
David Mcintosh is a model and a player, who says he is definitely capable of love but that he always ruins relationships. His relationships get hurt my his “stupid mistakes” and decisions, like having a one-night stand. On the premiere episode, Mcintosh ends up fooling around with fellow cast member Tiffany Pollard in the bathroom and he sleeps in her bed with her.
Tiffany “New York” Pollard
Pollard has never been shy and she’s not starting to be now. She is very open about her attraction to others on the show and reveals that she is bisexual. When she becomes determined to make out with cast member Mcintosh, she does just that. One major issue she has when it comes to dating is when a guy tries to tell her what to do or boss her around. Pollard is a self-proclaimed HBIC (Head Bitch In Charge) and though she is no longer trying to be reality star “New York,” she is still maintaining her signature personality.
Smirnoff hits it off with cast member Chad Johnson this season and she opens up about her failed relationships. She’s been engaged three times and one of the times was to Dancing With the Stars co-star Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Smirnoff says that she often finds herself in relationships where the man wants her to stay at home, but this is not what she is interest in doing.
