Nutrition can be confusing with so many conflicting diets and advice out there. However, the core principles of healthy eating are actually quite simple: eat real food, mostly plants, and not too much.

Macronutrients

Your body needs three main nutrients in large amounts: Carbohydrates (for energy), Protein (for building and repairing tissues), and Fats (for hormone production and nutrient absorption). A balanced diet includes all three.

Micronutrients

Vitamins and minerals are essential for your body to function correctly. Eating a colorful variety of fruits and vegetables is the best way to ensure you're getting a wide range of micronutrients.

Hydration

Water is often overlooked but is critical for every bodily function. Aim to drink enough water throughout the day so that you never feel thirsty. Your body will thank you.
