The World Series starts Tuesday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Fox will televise the entire series. Barring a late comeback by the Yankees, the Dodgers will face the Astros as things stand now.
Once the World Series begins on Tuesday, there will be four games in five days as Thursday is the only off day.
The Dodgers are making their first World Series appearance since 1988. Los Angeles is looking to add to their six World Series titles with their last trophy coming in 1988.
Houston and Los Angeles did not square off during the 2017 regular season. The last time the two teams played was in 2015, and the Astros won all three games. Overall, the Dodgers own a 388-323 lead in the history of the series.
The Dodgers entered the NL playoffs as the top seed. Los Angeles swept the Diamondbacks in three games in the NLDS. Things got a little more difficult for the Dodgers in the NLCS, but the Cubs were not able to put up much of a fight.
